I’m currently pursuing a PhD at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Before that, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department at West Virginia University.

My research focus lies on the verge of information theory, deep probabilistic modeling and computer vision, i.e. neural data compression.

I got my b.sc. and m.sc. in electrical engineering from University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology, respectively.
